SDS is designed to operate on IBM’s iSeries computer system. The entire package has been constructed using AS/AP, Velocity Group Ltd’s Program Generator.

The major benefit of using AS/AP is that customisation of the standard package is easier and faster than traditional program modifications. This translates directly into reduced costs of customisation. We find that almost all customers require changes to be made to any package offering. With SDS, we encourage such changes, because we know we can carry out the modifications at a cost that represents amazing value.

We have found with our existing SDS sites that customers install a standard package, but end up with a tailored solution.

SDS consists of eight separate modules. When these modules are installed, they all operate in a fully integrated fashion.
